Role

  • Lead the design and development of residential projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to define project objectives, establish design criteria, and develop innovative architectural solutions.
  • Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys, providing expert advice and guidance on technical aspects, construction methodologies, and materials selection.
  • Coordinate with contractors and oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices to enhance design concepts and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support throughout the design and construction process.
  • Qualifications
  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in residential architecture, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and team members.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) or other relevant professional bodies.
