Architectural Technologist
Glasgow
£40,000–£45,000 + benefits

We’re looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our Glasgow team and play a key role in the delivery of secure‑estate and MOD‑aligned projects across Scotland. This is a hands‑on technical role suited to someone who thrives in a structured, compliance‑driven environment and enjoys seeing well‑detailed solutions come to life.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading technical design packages from RIBA Stages 3–5 for MOD and defence‑related projects.
  • Producing coordinated drawings, specifications, schedules and detailed construction information.
  • Working closely with project architects, engineers and security‑cleared stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all outputs meet MOD, JSP and relevant statutory standards.
  • Supporting site delivery, responding to RFIs and resolving technical issues quickly and accurately.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist within complex, regulated or secure‑estate projects.
  • Strong Revit capability and confidence working in a BIM‑led environment.
  • Excellent technical detailing skills and a rigorous approach to quality and compliance.
  • Eligibility for UK security clearance (SC) is essential.
