Job Description
Associate Architectural Technologist
Manchester
£50,000–£80,000 + profit‑aligned performance incentives
This role is designed for a senior Architectural Technologist who wants genuine influence, strategic responsibility, and financial recognition that matches their impact. You’ll join at Associate level, shaping delivery, standards, and culture across a growing Manchester studio while leading complex technical projects with autonomy and authority.
You’ll be a key part of the leadership group, trusted to drive technical excellence, mentor the wider team, and strengthen client relationships. Your voice will matter — from design strategy and project governance to how the studio evolves over the next five years.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading technical delivery across multiple projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and buildability.
- Acting as a senior client-facing figure, shaping briefs, managing expectations, and building long-term partnerships.
- Setting technical standards, reviewing work, and guiding the team through complex detailing and coordination challenges.
- Contributing to bids, frameworks, and business development with a strategic, commercially aware mindset.
- Supporting the growth and capability of the Manchester studio through mentoring, coaching, and structured leadership.
This role suits someone who combines deep technical expertise with natural leadership presence.
- Extensive experience as a senior or associate-level Architectural Technologist.
- Strong Revit capability and confidence leading BIM-driven delivery.
- A track record of managing teams, coordinating multi-disciplinary design, and delivering complex projects.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to influence project outcomes at a strategic level.
- A collaborative, grounded leadership style that brings out the best in others.
You will be Valued. This is a role where your contribution is recognised — not just in title, but in reward and opportunity.
- £50,000–£80,000 salary, depending on experience and leadership scope.
- Profit‑aligned performance incentives that directly reward your impact on project and studio success.
- A clear pathway to senior leadership, with the autonomy to shape your own progression.
- A culture that values technical excellence, trust, and long-term contribution.
If you’re an experienced Architectural Technologist ready to step into a role where your leadership, judgement, and technical authority are genuinely valued — this is the opportunity to take that next step.
