Job Description

Architectural Technologist (Hospitality Interiors)

Glasgow | £30,000–£40,000 | Interior Design Studio
Bars, Restaurants, Hospitality, Revit‑Led Delivery

A vibrant interior design studio in Glasgow is looking to appoint an Architectural Technologist with at least three years’ experience to support a growing pipeline of hospitality projects. This is an opportunity to join a creative, design‑driven team producing high‑quality bar, restaurant and leisure environments across the UK.

The Projects You’ll Shape

You’ll be involved in the technical delivery of:

  • Bars and late‑night venues with strong brand identity
  • Restaurants ranging from independents to national operators
  • Hospitality and leisure spaces with complex detailing and bespoke joinery
  • High‑quality interior refurbishments and fit‑outs with fast‑paced programmes

The studio blends creativity with technical rigour, giving you exposure to concept development, detailed design and on‑site coordination.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce detailed technical drawings, schedules and specifications in Revit
  • Develop coordinated information packages for tender and construction
  • Work closely with interior designers to translate concepts into buildable solutions
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support site visits, respond to technical queries and ensure compliance with Scottish Building Regulations

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • Strong Revit capability and confidence working in a BIM‑led workflow
  • Experience in hospitality, retail or fit‑out environments (or a strong interest in moving into them)
  • Solid understanding of construction detailing, materials and regulations
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a creative studio

What’s on Offer

  • £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience
  • A sociable, design‑focused studio environment
  • Opportunities to work on high‑profile hospitality projects
  • Professional development support and clear progression pathways
  • Hybrid working options
